I provide weekly family therapy where I assist with improving interfamilial relationships and behaviors. Through psychotherapy (talk therapy), or play therapy with children and their caregivers, the family and I can work through relationship conflict, such as parent-child conflict or other challenges getting the family stuck. Sessions are focused on the system of the family to initiate novel solutions, reorient family members to one another, and encourage reflection and positive change.
Goals, strategies, and tools are created to reestablish emotional connections and empathy.
Weekly sessions providing coaching and teaching to athletes and/or performers on performance enhancement skills for the application in sport, exercise, and other contexts (i.e., relaxation, concentration, imagery, and centering). I assess performance and measure strengths and explore areas for improvement. I help empowering client(s) through coaching strategies to enhance their performance in their sport or in life.
As an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation, I support young children’s social and emotional development through work with the important adults in a child’s life--usually teachers and parents/caregivers. The goal is to increase the capacity of these adults to meet the child’s needs and help them grow. Consultation helps with increasing caregivers’ awareness and understanding of a child’s experience, and helps children and their families connect to the resources they need. This is a prevention-based service intended to meet and address needs early.
